Switching classes at the semester…

Well the year certainly was getting tedious. When you switch classes, you not only have the excitement of a new teacher, but also have to find a new way to get to the class as well as new people going that direction to walk with you! it’s almost like the beggining of the year again except that nobody’s saying, “It’s so god to see you!” And you’re not wondering, If it’s so “good” to see me, then why didn’t you call  me over the last 3 months!?! Unfortunately, my schedule didn’t change that much this semester, I only switched 2 classes because they were both semester classes (gym-health) and (civics-economics)… I do still have all the excitement of new classes though because my economics class is in a completely different area of the school than my old civics class.

Songs that fit with the way you feel…

Have you ever turned on the radio and you hear a song that happens to be exactly the way you feel? I have. It’s really cool! There are so many different songs out there, one of them has to fit! It never happened to me untill a couple of weeks ago when I was in a really good mood and “Just Dance” turned on the radio. Then again it happened when “Replay” turned on. The songs make the feelings more concrete – like they lock them in!

Chocolate milk…

I’m not sure why chocolate milk is always different, maybe different cows have different milk? Well yesterday night I realized how yummy this specific gallon of chocolate milk is! It was just really good! And it was 1%, so it can’t be too bad for me!

Facebook…

I know it’s not good to get addicted to facebook or anything, but my parents finally let me get one and it’s really exciting. My new thing jitters are still not done so it’s still exciting! There are so many people on there! It will connect the world and right after the last person gets a facebook, they’ll brainwash us all and we’ll all become zombies!  But we’ll all be able to comunicate and play farmville, so it’ll be okay.

Blizzards…

I know everybody hates blizzards. I guess you can’t really go anywhere and a lot of car accidents happen because of irresponsible drivers, but I love blizzards! Looking outside, barely being abLe to see a foot in front of your face; there’s something magical about them. Like nature decided it was going to snow, but not just sprinkle down slowly, it was going to catapult snow from the sky and add wind to boot! How can you not love it when nature is abnormal? I’ve never been around for an earthquake or a tsunami or anything. I think those nature abnormalities are quite a bit worse and that’s why they are clasified as disasters. A blizzard, on the other hand, is just abnormal, like a rainstorm, and therefore is exciting. Oh! The best part of blizzards are hearing the wind howl! It seems like the wind is actually alive and trying to tell us how angry it is! I LOVE it!

Finding expensive, name brand clothes for really cheap…

I have 4 things I bought at T.J.Maxx for really cheap. A Max BCBG vest originally $100, that I bought for $10! A Jucy Couture swimsuit I got for $35, originaly $125.  A pair of real Ugg boots for $35, originally $140. And a pair of Juicy Couture shoes for $20 when they were originally $178! I LOVE going to T.J.Maxx and finding all this cheap stuff! I feel all excited and tell all my freinds as soon as I get to school, but no one is ever quite as excited as me… Their loss!

Knowing you kept that secret…

I understand that keeping secrets is hard and sometimes painful, but Christmas secrets are slightly different. I always think to myself only x days left… Now I know ‘ve made it! I know what everyone in my family is getting for Christmas, including me (because I had to pick out my own present), and I haven’t leaked one! Tonight a few of my burdens will belifted, but the others will last one more night. I know I can last a day and a night – I’ve lasted this far! So all you secret holders, remember holdthis thought tight as you bubble withthe need to spil those secrets: Only 1 day left. Keep those secrets 1 more day and just imagine your sense of accomplishment!

Really old ornaments…

Everybody – at least everybody who celebrates Christmas – has those few ornaments from when their parents were kids. You know the ones, all yellowish where it shoould be white, maybe chipped up a little bit, or pieces are missing. I have always thought those ornaments should be thrown away, but I recently (yesterday night) changed my mind. I believe that the older ornaments have more character. They feel like because they have “lived” through so many Christmases that they “understand” the meaning of Christmas better. I have decided that it is the old things, not the new that hold the spirit of Christmas. Well, that plus family and friends – it’s a mix.

Christmas Spirit = Family + Friends + Old Ornments/Decorations!!!
